Trisha “T.E” Williams receives praise that identifies her as a natural-born indie writer with a goal to reach readers from all backgrounds via thought-provoking fictional stories that deal with everyday life.

Williams describes her work as genre for life, cultivated by personal experiences for stories that need telling.

“So much of my work originates from what I see. I’m 51, I’ve seen a lot of stuff,” Williams, a vendor at the Capital City Farmers Market at Mill Hill Park on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., said. “The stuff I write about, I either subjected myself to or — I’ve seen with my own eyes through personal observation and interaction.”

Williams’ latest release entitled “Side Effects”, is about marriage, sort of. “Actually, it’s about not honoring your vow to God. People fall in love with weddings and not the person they’re marrying and it’s starting to get on my nerves. It’s very prevalent to not understand that when you take the vow of marriage that it’s a covenant with God.”

Williams, who publishes under the IreeSky Fiction label, said she enjoys writing on topics that interest and impact followers. “Plus, it’s great to get people to read. Anything that gets our young people and others to pick up a book is great,” she said.

Find Williams and about two dozen vendors on Thursday as Trenton enjoys a market that showcases produce, tea, garlic, clothing, and a variety of food items including salads, sandwiches and desserts.

Hours later, Mill Hill Park converts to a music spot as the Levitt Amp Music Series delivers two music acts beginning at 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

La Misa Negra headlines this week with Philly-based group Interminable out first on the stage located at 165 East Front St.
