Spin Doctor is your ‘cure for dirty clothes’

- Advertorial

The staff of Spin Doctor Laundromat would like to send a rousing “thank you” to the readers for voting it “Best of 2018.” The business slogan is “The Cure for Dirty Clothes” and they strive to live up to it every day by changing perceptions of laundromats.

There are three ingredients in the “Cure:” The latest technology, great staff, and a vibrant environment. On the technology front, the store features Electrolux™ high-performance machines that can text the customer the number of washers available or when their wash is done. In addition, cash or credit can be transferred to free Laundry Cards that report user activity, as well as, fund and loyalty reward point balance.

Staff members are hired primarily on their ability to provide exceptional customer service and trained on everything else. As for the environment—it is exceptional: Described as a clean, bright and spacious (3,000 sq. ft.), with 41 washers—in three sizes, (including a triple size with an exclusive comforter wash cycle), dial control operation, 200 GForce water extraction for shorter dry times, and 36 dryers offering custom dry and temperatures at competitive prices. Amenities include big screen TV’s, workstation, free WiFi; snack, drink and cleaning product vending, fax/ copy services, and a child play area.

The store was founded by Cathy Neilley, an Adjunct Professor of business at MCCC and a former healthcare executive, in 2012 and draws customers from virtually everywhere in Mercer and Bucks County. In addition to selfwash, the business offers wash, dry and fold service, elderly/community outreach; college and military discounts, commercial accounts, and is certified DBE, female, and veteran owned.
