Nottingham gets even with Hamilton

HAMILTON » The Nottingham boys basketball team got even with township rival Hamilton West.

Brandon Raba scored 19 points, Nazir Collins added 16 and the Northstars avenged a loss from earlier in the season by overcoming a fourth-quarter deficit to sting the Hornets, 62-57, on Tuesday night.

Nottingham (16-5) trailed by two after three quarters, but outscored Hamilton (89), 17-10, over the final eight minutes. The ’Stars have won six in a row and 10 of the last 11.

Jack Boufford tallied 18 points and Maurice Williams added 14 for the Hornets, who have lost four in a row. Gabe Rodriguez netted a game-best 25 points for Hopewell.

Shiver tallied 20 and the Scotties (12-5) held off the Panthers (13-7).

Avery Anderson finished with a game-high 24 points for Westampton. BURLINGTON TWP. 68, NO. BURLINGTON 56 COLUMBUS » Josiah Scarlett netted 17 points, Emmanuel Ayetigbo finished with 15 and the Falcons (712) soared past the Greyhounds (7-12).

Lorenzo Repack posted a game-high 22 points for NBC.
