Ann Evans Burick

-

Yardville - Ann Evans Burick, 91, of Hamilton Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, in the loving presence of her family at home.

Born in Trenton, Ann was a lifelong Trenton and Yardville resident. She worked as a secretary at Junior 2 in Trenton where she cultivated her love of education and children before becoming a fulltime mother of four.

Ann was a deeply devout Catholic whose angelic voice could always be heard Sunday mornings as she sang every hymn while celebrating mass. She also enjoyed her many trips to Atlantic City, Florida, and her beloved Lake Cossayuna with her husband Stephen, who she was married to for 54 years before his passing in 2011. In retirement, the couple would also spend time bowling, roller skating, and taking their grandkids on adventures. There was not a child or animal that did not fall in love with Ann, as they all seemed to flock to her. She had an uncanny way of taking an ordinary day and turning it into something extraordinary. Her beauty, grace, and infectious smile lit up any room she walked into.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Evans; her son Paul Joseph Burick; her brothers Michael, John, and George; and her sister Mary Migut. She is survived by her two sons, Stephen E. Burick of Blackwood, NJ and John M. Burick of Yardville, NJ; her daughter and son-inlaw Maryann and Ted Orndorff of New Egypt, NJ; grandchildren Robert Burick of Guston, KY, Leann Wollett of Salado, TX; Thomas Burick of Charlotte, NC, Samantha and Sydney Orndorff of New Egypt, NJ; great-grandchildren Kylie and Tristan Wollett of Salado, TX; Dakota and soon-to-be-baby girl Burick of Charlotte, NC; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be Friday morning, September 18th from 8:00am to 9:30am from the Winowicz Funeral Home, 308 Adeline Street, Trenton NJ 08611. The funeral will be held at 9:30AM on Friday from the Winowicz Funeral Home. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, in the Church of the Holy Cross Church with Rev. Fr.
