4 more victims come forward to accuse alleged rapist
TRENTON » Four more women stepped forward saying they were assaulted by a Hamilton man charged with raping two drunk women at his house during parties, prosecutors said.
That makes at least six women who say they’ve been victimized by Eridson Rodriguez, 26, who faced a judge Wednesday during his detention hearing.
He was charged earlier this month with first-degree aggravated sexual assault and third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact for taking advantage of two drunk women, prosecutors said.
Rodriguez now faces additional charges of aggravated sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual contact relating to four other women’s allegations, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.
The Hamilton man raped two women, ages 19 and 20, at his Liberty Street residence last year, prosecutors said. The women, drunk and incapacitated, were unable to consent to sex, prosecutors said.
On Wednesday, Superior Court Judge Robert Bingham II ordered Rodriguez detained until the outcome of the case.
Authorities continue to investigate Rodriguez, and anyone with information should call MCPO Detective Shari Johnson at 609989-6758 or Hamilton Police Detective Daniel Inman at 609-581-4000.
