As we approach the beginning of the high school athletic season, there are a few changes in the athletic director position in the area.

There will be new athletic directors in the West Windsor-Plainsboro District, Robbinsville and at New Egypt.

Kate Dobinson takes over for Ken Mason at WW-P. Dobinson has been a coach and an administrator in the district for several years and it was a natural progress to move into the athletic director position.

After stepping down at West Windsor-Plainsboro, Mason as become the interim athletic director at New Egypt.

One of the longtime respected athletic administrators in the area, Mason brings a wealth of knowledge to New Egypt and gives the athletic program great guidance.

Dee Taylor will be the interim athletic director at Robbinsville, succeeding Tom Brettell, who moved into another administrative position within the district.

Prior to her retirement from the Hamilton Township system, Taylor was the legendary field hockey coach at Nottingham for 25 years. When she stepped down from that position, she took over as the athletic director at Nottingham for ten years.

At Nottingham, Taylor oversaw several championship seasons for the Northstars, andmost recently she served as a track coach at Robbinsville.

No stranger to Ravens athletics, Taylor’s children, Thomas and Emilie, excelled in the Ravens’ colors. Thomas played baseball, football and basketball and Emilie, who was The Trentonian Player of the Year, was a superb field hockey player.
