Increases

The commission that oversees the Social Security increases came upwith a 1.3% increase for 2021. With each increaseMedicare automatically increases, paying for secondary insurance and prescription programs, which are out of pocket, we received notification that each will be increasing. The commission looks at the GNP 3rd quarter to decide the payout for the upcoming year whichwas only $2,200 less than last year. Too bad the seniors can’t get a raise that Congress is entitled to each year. Interesting fact is that whether Congress votes or not on their raises it becomes automatic. After all the payments aremade from the Social Security increasewe’d be better off with no raise. — Yardville Resident
