Lawrence M. “Larry” Ferrante, 66, of Hamilton, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 in St. Francis Medical Center.

Born in Trenton he was a lifelong resident before moving to Hamilton 7 years ago.

He was a graduate of St. Anthony High School class of 1974 and Wilfred Academy of Beauty Culture.

Larry was a hairdresse­r for 40 years and the owner/operator of Larry’s Way of Hair, Butler Street,

Trenton. His personalit­y was “larger than life”, his beauty shop was so much more than a place to go for

a haircut or color, it was a psychologi­st’s office/ club/diner and comedy club all in one location. If you

mention his name to any person they all have the same reaction “he is so funny”, “one of a kind”,

“generous”, “his use of expletives is extensive”, etc…. but that is because he genuinely cared for people

especially his customers who he treated like

“family”.

Predecease­d by his parents. Joseph and Barbara (Eleuteri) Ferrante; his brother, Msgr. Joseph L. Ferrante; and his Aunt, Mary P. Pontani.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Earl Brancolino of Hamilton Square; his

nephew and spouse, Tom and Jennifer DeLapo of Hamilton, great nieces, Brianna and Alexa ; great

nephew, Travis Lada; Uncle Angelo and Aunt Rose:several cousins; and many friends including lifelong

friends, Maria Gallo, Maria Craven, Jennie Loffredo and Cathy Dillione.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 16, at 10:45 a.m., Our Lady of the

Angels Parish/St. Joachim Church, 20-56 Butler Street, Trenton. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s

Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton. Calling hours are private. THE USE OF FACE COVERINGS AND

SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE REQUIRED. In lieu of flowers or other generositi­es, donations may be made to; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,

Larry you will never be forgotten, now we all know what it means to have ”The music taken away”.
