Will there be a special prosecutor?

- — Ed Note

It was disappointing that outgoing Attorney General William Barr punted on the question of appointing a special prosecutor to investigate the lucrative Asian business dealings of Hunter Biden, the dealings of which had whispers of involvement by his father, PresidentElect Joe Biden.

Every politician in Washington is aware that the fix is in and by the time soon-to-be President Joe Biden leaves office, it is unlikely anyone in Washington will care about the potentially illegal acts that Hunter Biden and Joe Biden committed in 2014, at a time when Joe Biden was serving this country as vice president.

Only a fool, or a Washington bureaucrat, could believe that, after Inauguration Day, President Joe Biden will sanction an investigation of his son, with the investigation very well resulting in both criminal charges against Hunter, and impeachment charges against himself.

So, when the American people toast-in 2021 on New Year’s Day, they will also toast-out democracy as we know it. Sadly, Hunter Biden has been given a free pass, and we will never know the full story of the money-grabbing deals which he, along with his father and other Biden family members, engaged in.

You know the FBI is investigating the computer in question, right? Conservatives act like to play like nothing is being done about the allegations of malfeasance, but there is an investigation. No matter what you want to say, Hunter Biden is not a public official, and other than some alt-right conspiracy theories, there doesn’t seem to be any reporting to suggest a solid connection to VP Biden in any of the questionable dealings, nor is it entirely clear if the dealings were questionable.
