GIANTS GAMEDAY

-

The Game: Cowboys (6-9) at Giants (5-10), Sunday, 1p.m. ET (FOX)

The Line: Dallas by 1.5

History: The Cowboys lead the all-time series, 69-46-2. Dallas has won seven in a row since 2017, including a 37-34 shootout in Texas earlier this season. Key Matchups:

Giants WR Darius Slayton vs. Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs: Slayton had a season-high 129yards in the Week 5 matchup but has struggled lately with only 10receptions in the last five games. The Giants need him to get open downfield and make big plays against Diggs, who has 12passes defended.

Giants TE Evan Engram vs. Cowboys FS Xavier Woods: One of Engram’s two touchdowns this season was an endaround run against Dallas. His versatility could be an asset again, and he’ll look to build on his season-high seven receptions against Baltimore last week. Giants CB Isaac Yiadom vs. Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb: With James Bradberry likely to key in on Amari Cooper in man matchups, that leaves Yiadom to try to contain Lamb, who torched the Giants in Week 5with eight catches for 124yards. But the Giants will surely play a lot of zone, so the secondary as a whole has a tough matchup.

Giants DL Dalvin Tomlinson vs. Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott: Two of Elliott’s five rushing touchdowns this season were against the Giants. If Tomlinson and the defensive line can slow him down at the line of scrimmage, that will give New York a better chance at containing Dallas’ passing attack. Injury Report:

Giants: OUT: FB Eli Penny (illness). DOUBTFUL: WR Golden Tate (calf). QUESTIONABLE: LB Cam Brown (illness).

Cowboys: OUT: CB Rashard Robinson (knee), LB Leighton Vander Esch (ankle). QUESTIONABLE: S Darian Thompson (concussion), S Xavier Woods (ribs). Giant Facts: Sterling Shepard became the eighth receiver in franchise history to reach 300career receptions last week. … Dalvin Tomlinson is set to become the first Giants defensive player since the 1970NFL/AFL merger to start the first 64games of his career. … The Giants are trying to go 3-0at home vs. the NFC East for the first time since 2005.

The Prediction: Cowboys 24, Giants
