Gregory E. Sherman

Gregory E. Sherman, 56, of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Capital Health Fuld in Trenton.

A lifelong resident of Mercerville, Greg had many friends and touched many lives. You might have known him as Peck or Grady or even The Mayor of Mercerville - he was loved for his humor, playfulness, and generosity of spirit. Greg loved nature and was an avid sportsman: hunting, fishing, kayaking; he also raised chickens, rabbits, and had a beautiful garden. Son of the late Richard Sherman, Greg was raised in his father’s roofing business and continued this work most of his life.

Greg is predeceased by his wife, Debra EvankoSherman; he leaves behind his mother, Pamela Sherman; his siblings, Richard Sherman, Kenneth Taylor, Judith Taylor, and Robert Sherman; his cousins, nieces and nephews; and god-daughter.

Greg was proud to be an organ donor. His last deed was to help others by giving all he could.

Due to the constraints of the pandemic, there will not be a service at this time, but the family asks that donations be made in lieu of flowers to: the New Jersey Sharing Network (http://NJSharingNetwork. org).
