Edward R. Antrobus, Sr. passed away on December 14, 2020. He was born on July 9, 1935 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania to Mildred (German) and Harold H. Antrobus. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brothers, Harold, Warren and Richard. Ed spent years on the volunteer First Aid Squad and Volunteer Fire Department in Pennington, which he enjoyed. He spent his life working hard for the State of New Jersey as a plumber. He retired from there and spent his remaining years in leisure. As a dad he was such a selfless giver of his time and patience. Taking three small children fishing, canoeing, picnicking and just about everything else fun is what he spent years doing. When we were grown his grandchildren became the light of his life. When his CMT became to much to manage on his own he moved in with his oldest son and daughter-in-law. After a few years living with them he moved away from the one state he called home for most of his life. He left New Jersey in February, 2018 to move to Florida. He was able to live happily in an independent living apartment until an unfortunate accidental fall made it impossible for him to live alone any longer. At that point he moved into a nursing home. He relocated to a different home earlier this year where he spent the last months of his life. He is survived by his three children, Ed, Jr. and his wife, Val, of Greeley, CO; daughter, Mary - Lou and her husband Steve Mattana of Weeki Wachee, FL. and son, Marty and his wife Nancy of Rancho Cucamonga, CA. He is also survived by his sister, Louise Milewski of Mars, PA; his brother, Fred and his wife, Lois, of Thornton, CO; his brother, Stan of Bryan, TX, and aunt Alice Sheets of Holocong, PA; his 3 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
