Leonard Brigman passed away peacefully on March 4, 2021, after a brave 3 ½ year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Len has been a lifelong Trenton Hamilton resident.

Len retired in 2010 from Wyeth Pharmaceuticals after 21 years of service. Prior to that, he worked at Princeton Plasma Physics and DeLaval Turbine.

He coached baseball at Nottingham Little League from 1985 until 2000. He also coached Babe Ruth baseball from 2001 until 2003. Len was a longtime member of the Falls Township Rifle and Pistol Association.

Len loved spending time with his family, especially at the holidays. His favorite holiday was Christmas Eve. He was always amazed and in awe of the unique talents of both of his sons Jim and Zack. He often told his wife, “I’m glad they’re a lot smarter than us”. He was an avid hunter, golfer, gun enthusiast and wood worker. He often claimed there was nothing he couldn’t make or repair–and he was right. Len especially enjoyed deer hunting with his nephew Johnny. He loved nothing more than hearing a good joke or telling a good joke. Len especially enjoyed making his nieces Dawn and Kelly laugh at his crazy antics.

He is predeceased by his parents Eugene and Carmela Brigman, his sister Jean Clark, his sisterin-law Nora Gallagher and his brother-in-law John McMillan. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Josephine (Jodi) Brigman, his sons and their partners James Brigman (Daniel Pieper) of New York City and Zachary Brigman (Alix Rapkowicz) of Point Pleasant, his sister Lillian McMillan, his mother-inlaw Nora Fragale, his brother-in-law Robert Clark and his brother-in-law Patrick Gallagher, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

His family would like to thank Dr. Sophia Mavasheva, Dr. Craig Lampert and Dr Harish Lavu for their care during Len’s cancer journey, as well as the gift of 2 ½ cancer free years where he got to enjoy great times hunting, golfing, traveling to Germany and spending time with family and friends. They would also like to thank Len’s friend Frank Hillman for his constant support.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 12:00 P.M., at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel 1799 Klockner Road Hamilton, NJ 08619.

Entombment will be private.
