TRENTON >> Suspected serial robber Maurice Davis allegedly targeted the same store twice in about a week, police said.

The 23-year-old Trenton man faces multiple charges stemming from three armed heists between March 21 and March 29, police said.

Cops tied him to a March 21 robbery that happened before 6 p.m. at a store on the 1200 block of South Clinton Avenue.

The alleged culprit, wearing a mask and brandishing a handgun, stole hundreds in cash, police said.

Davis was fingered in two other holdups the morning of March 29, about a half-hour a part, on the 1000 block of South Broad Street and at the same business that he hit March 21, police said.

“I’m back, give me the money,” Davis allegedly said, in returning to the same joint he robbed, before running off.

Cops Jeffry Donaire and Angel Turner spotted a man fitting the description of the alleged robber.

Davis allegedly pulled a piece on the officers when they tried to stop him, but they officers convinced the suspect to drop the weapon without a firefight.

“This case speaks to the resilience of TPD officers in pursuing and apprehending individuals that threaten our residents and businesses with violence,” Trenton Police Director Sheilah Coley said in a statement. “Thankfully, no one was harmed during this investigation. My thanks go out to the residents that provided the intelligence and the officers who took this dangerous individual off our streets.”
