Eric Victor Davis, Sr.

Eric Victor Davis, Sr., aka “Beaver”, departed this life on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Eric’s early life was spent in Scotland Neck, NC, where he attended The Brawley High School until enlisting in the US Marine Corps. After an honorable discharge, Eric moved to Trenton, NJ where he spent majority of his adult life. He was employed by Starr Bus Tours for 17 years before retiring. He went on to establish his own trucking business and was later employed by Capitol City Trucking for 8 years. Predeceased by his parents, Georgiana and John Davis, he is survived by his wife, Panthea Davis; son, Eric Victor Davis, Jr. (Mitzy); sisters, Dorothy Davis, Joan Davis, Fraddle Y. Davis, Valerie Chase (Darnell), Starlette B. Edmonds (Clay); special brother, MacArthur Doggett; sisters-in-law, Sheila Alford, Doris Glover (Milton), Gail Nixon, Bernetta Howlett and Mercedes White (Darrow); brother-in-law, Darryl Johnson; aunt, Emma McNeal; special friends, Dave Taylor, James Johnson and Deborah Page; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be Friday, April 23, 2021 at 10am at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun St., Trenton, NJ. Calling hours will be Friday from 8 am to 10 am at chapel.
