Scouting Princeton: The Tigers nearly pulled off an incredible second-half rally against Hofstra last time out — closing a 19-point deficit to one in the final minute — but ultimately fell when the Pride banked in a 3-pointer with 19seconds remaining. Princeton shot a season-high 54.4% in that game, which coincided with coach Mitch Henderson starting a small-ball lineup of Jalein Llewellyn, Ethan Wright, Ryan Langborg, Drew Friberg and Tosan Evbuomwan. Sophomore Matt Allocco saw most of the second-half minutes in place of the struggling Friberg. Henderson still lamented a first-half defensive effort that yielded 50points and put the Tigers in a hole to begin with. Scouting Drexel: Zach Spiker’s Dragons have alternated wins and losses through their first seven games, so a victory at Jadwin would be the first time they’ve put together consecutive wins. You may remember senior guard Camren Wynter(14.4points per game) from when he poured in a career-high 31points against Princeton in that 2019game. He’s the second leading scorer behind the 6-foot-8, 235-pound James Butler (15.9points, 9.6 rebounds). Monmouth transfer Melik Martin (11.3points) and Xavier Bell (10.6) points give Drexel four of its five starters averaging in double figures.
