Scouting Princeton: The Tigers erased a five-point deficit with 42seconds remaining to force overtime against Drexel and then won despite giving up the first six points in the extra session. There’s a resiliency about this team that will suit it well come Ivy League play, but for now it’s about finishing out the last four game of non-conference play with wins. Tosan Evbuomwan is coming off his best game in a Princeton uniform after posting 27points, seven rebounds and six assists. The 6-foot-8 Englishman runs the show as a point-forward of sorts and is surrounded by players who can either shoot or make plays off the dribble. The Tigers are very hard to guard, with an adjusted efficiency (106) and 3-point percentage (36.5) that both rank in the top 100nationally and an effective field goal percentage (54.4) that ranks in the top 50. Scouting Bucknell: The Bison have lost two straight and five of the last six, with their only two victories have come against MAAC competition (Rider and Siena). Princeton is susceptible to giving up points, so Bucknell may be able to score with the likes of Andrew Funk (19.2 points, 39.5% from 3) and Xander Ricer (12.3points). Funk is coming off a 28-point performance in the loss at Hofstra and already has two games of 30 or more, including against the Tigers’ Ivy League rival Penn. Seven-footer Andre Screen (10.3 points, 6.8 rebounds) is back from a foot injury and gives the Bison an inside presence.
