Kenneth M. Reiss, age 67, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Capital Health System - Fuld, Trenton, after a brief illness.

Born in Trenton to his parents Ellwood & Dolores Reiss, Kenneth was raised in Yardville. He graduated from Hamilton High School West, class of 1972. He lived in the Trenton/Hamilton area all his life.

Kenneth met the love of his life, Christine Lertch, in 1973 and after many years of friendship, married on September 24, 1988. Their union was blessed by the birth of their son, Casey.

Kenneth worked for Budny Tire in Lawrence for many years as a counterper­son in sales & customer service. After Budny Tire closed, he worked for Champion Tire in Ringoes. He later went on to work in quality control and shipping & logistics at Educationa­l Testing Service, Kuehne + Nagel, and Accenture, all based in Ewing.

As a young man Ken enjoyed his boat which he often used on Barnegat Bay, near Long Beach Island. He also loved fishing with his big brother, Rick, who took him on some great adventures fishing the Chesapeake Bay area as well as on the Outer Banks of NC.

Kenneth enjoyed traveling to warm, sunny places & enjoyed their local fare as well as fine dining. He loved to BBQ & grill at home, as well as on many

camping trips. Ken was a huge rhythm & blues lover & attended many festivals.

Kenneth adored his canine family especially German Shepherd & Husky mixed breeds. Ken loved all the attention & compliment­s his dogs received from people.

Kenneth is predecease­d by his father, Ellwood Reiss, and brothers R. Rick Reiss and Ellwood “Woody” Reiss.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Christine Reiss; mother, Dolores Reiss; his son Casey Reiss; his twin sister Kathleen Reiss and brother-inlaw Warren Prunetti of Ewing.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 28th, at 8pm. The family will receive friends beginning at 7pm at the Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton, NJ. 08619. (609) 882-3800 www.Murphyfh.com

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Kenneth’s name to the Humane Society of the U.S. at www.humanesoci­ety.org or the charity of your choice.

or visit a friend you haven’t seen in a while, offer assistance to someone if they need it, and pay it forward should someone help you.
