Trenton’s Williams leading Stockton men’s basketball

When Stockton men’s basketball edged Rosemont before the break, the Ospreys got a lot of help from some familiar names.

Jordan Williams (Trenton) had a careerhigh 17 points for his third straight double-digit game. The hot-shooting Williams was 7-for-7 from the floor.

Milo De Los Santos (Hopewell Valley) also had double figures with 10 points and Kadian Dawkins (Rancocas Valley) had a great all-around game with seven points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

Stockton returns on Jan. 3 against Misericord­ia and then it’s back to the New Jersey Athletic Conference schedule.

Barcless Bragging Rights Go to Trinity

When Stevenson and Wilkes get together on the ice, there’s more than just a game taking place.

Trinity Barcless (Notre Dame) plays for Stevenson and her sister Abby (Notre Dame) is on the Wilkes team.

The two met in early December and it was Stevenson with a pair of wins.

Trinity, who is the two-time MAC Offensive Player of the Year, had a pair of goals and an assist in one of the games. She leads Stevenson with four goals and five assists.

Abby, an All-MAC defenseman, did her best to keep it close with three shots on net. Abby has nine blocked shots on the season.

Also on the Wilkes roster is Julie Patterson (Princeton Day). Patterson, who was the MAC Offensive Player of the Week, leads Wilkes with three goals and one assist.

All three — Trinity and Abby Barcless and Patterson — played their club hockey with the Princeton Tiger Lillies.

Weise Warming-Up

Ryan Weise (Allentown) had a seasonhigh 15 points and seven rebounds for East Stroudsbur­g in a game with Edinboro.

Weise is averaging 8.9 points per game and has dished out 13 assists.

Before getting back to the Pennsylvan­ia State Athletic Conference battles after the new year, East Stroudsbur­g will face Holy Family on Dec. 30.

MEN'S ICE HOCKEY » Jonathan Bendorf (Hun) has three goals and nine assists for Mercyhurst. Mercyhurst will play in the Ledyard Classic at Dartmouth. It will face Boston College in the first game. Other schools in the tourney are Dartmouth and New Hampshire. …Frank Vitucci (Hun)

had a goal for Stevenson in a win over Arcadia.

Track and Field: Carson Latham (Bordentown) placed 12th in a field of 64 sprinters in the 60m dash for Stockton in the Seahawk Shootout.

WOMEN'S SOCCER » Niamh Harkins (Hopewell Valley) was named to the AllRegion team from Wilkes. Harkins was a three-time All-MAC first team defender.
