Jacquelyn T. Amison, 86, of Hamilton Square, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Capital Health Medical Center at Hopewell in Hopewell, NJ.

Born in Reading, PA, she was raised in the Trenton area and attended Trenton Public Schools. Throughout her life, Jacquelyn was employed with the State of New Jersey, Division of Taxation where she retired as the Mailroom Supervisor after 27 years of service.

In her spare time, Jacquelyn loved to do jigsaw puzzles and watch movies, especially Harry Potter. Above all else, she adored spending time with her family.

Predecease­d by her parents, Valetine and Florence (Koch) Thomas, her husband, James L. Amison, Jr., her sons, James L. Amison, III and Kevin Amison,

her brothers, David and Jim Thomas, her sisters, Florence Thomas, Patricia Oldani, and Joanne Smith; she is survived by her three sons, David and Karma Amison of Morse Bluff, NE, Steven Amison of Greenville, SC and Timothy, Sr. and Lori Amison of Hamilton Square; a daughter-in-law, Simone Amison of Trenton; her ten grandchild­ren, David, Justin, Timothy, Jr., Tyler, Kelsey, Kylie, Kevin, II, James, IV, Danielle, and Steven, II; and many other nieces, nephews, step-grandchild­ren, great grandchild­ren, and her longtime friend and caregiver, Marie Spranger.

Funeral services will begin on Monday, January 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.

Cremation was private and the interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Trenton, NJ.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.

Masks are optional for the visitation and funeral services of Jacquelyn.
