Scouting Princeton: The Tigers are in the midst of their longest winning streak since the 201617 season thanks to a pair of second-half comebacks. None was more dramatic than the rally from 18down against Cornell last Saturday to win on Matt Allocco’s buzzer beater. Princeton doesn’t want to make a habit of having to erase double-digit deficits, and to do that it needs to get off to better starts on the defensive end. In the last weekend’s games against Columbia and Cornell, it gave up an average of 42points in the first half and 27.5 in the second half. Of course, the Tigers have the firepower when they get behind to get back in the game. They rank seventh in the nation in 3-pointers per game (10.9), 12th in total 3-pointers made (429), 15th in field goal percentage (49.2), 26th in assists per game (16.8) and 29th in 3-point percentage (38.0). … Point guard Jaelin Llewellyn (hamstring) is questionable. … Princeton is 9-0 at home this season.

Scouting Brown: Ninth-year coach Mike Martin’s Bears are off to a 1-2Ivy start after splitting last weekend’s league games. They won at Harvard but followed that up with an ice cold shooting performance at Dartmouth (30.4% and 4-for-26 on 3s). Brown ranks last in the Ivy in 3-point percentage (31.4), although it does boast the top scoring defense in the league (67.4). Forward Tamenang Choh (13.5 points, 8.3) rebounds and guard Kino Lilly Jr. (12.9 points, 38.3% from 3) are the top offensive threats.
