Scouting Princeton: The Tigers can make it nine straight wins overall and 11in a row at home if they can get the better of their great rival once again. Ivy teams are all playing their travel partner in MLK Day matinees as part of the league’s new 10-week schedule. Princeton has played the last two games without leading scorer Jaelin Llewelllyn (16.2points) due to a hamstring injury, and while his status remains questionable for Monday, it hasn’t missed a beat on offense. Five players scored in double figures against Brown on Saturday, led by junior forward Tosan Ebvuomwan, who stuffed the stat sheet with 21points and eight assists. The Tigers rank in the top 10 nationally in 3-pointers made per game (10.9) and top-25nationally in 3-point percentage (38.3). Llewellyn, Drew Friberg, Ethan Wright and Ryan Langborg all shoot 37% or better from beyond the arc. Scouting Penn: Steve Donahue’s Quakers endured a sevengame losing streak from the end of November through December, but are off to a 3-1start in the Ivy League after surging past Dartmouth in the second half on Saturday. They, too, had five players score in double figures in that game, led by 13 points each from Jelani Williams and Max Martz. Sophomore guard Jordan Dingle is having a fantastic season, averaging an Ivy-best 18.6 points, while shooting 42.6% overall and 35% from 3. Dingle has scored 20or more points nine times this season and had season-high 31against Utah State on Nov. 18. Jonah Charles, a junior from Roselle who played at Rutgers Prep, is the top 3-point shooter at 42.4% on a healthy 99attempts.
