Laura Ann Sciortino, age 69, of Hamilton, NJ, entered into her eternal rest with the Lord on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Born in Dublin, Ireland, Laura immigrated to the United States in 1976 and lived in Hamilton Township. She retired in 2012 after 25 years of dedicated employment as a banquet manager at Mastoris Diner in Bordentown, NJ. Laura was president of the Kotelnicki Arts Foundation and was extremely involved in the Kotelnicki Irish School of Dance in Hamilton, NJ. After her retirement she spent much of her time caring for and loving her grandchild­ren, grandniece­s, and grandnephe­w. She loved traveling, especially to return to her homeland of Ireland. Laura also loved trips to NYC and the beach with family and friends. She was a most loving

and devoted wife, mother, grandmothe­r, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Daughter of the late Sydney and Georgina (Leonard) McKnight; sister of the late Freddy McKnight; niece of the late Auntie Laura; Laura is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Steven Gregory Sciortino; her two sons, Steven Sciortino, Jr. (Dina), and Kyle Sciortino (Ashley); two cherished grandchild­ren, Ella and Anthony; her nieces and nephews, Justin Kotelnicki (Karina), their children, Milanya and Viviana; Ryan Kotelnicki (Gabriella), and their children, Isla and Kingston; Erinn Kotelnicki (Roko), and Keira McNally; her four siblings, Stanley McKnight (Noleen), Maria Kotelnicki, Sydney McKnight (Donna), and Helen McNally (Robert); her two brothers-in-law, Phil Shortino (Vicki), and Hank Kotelnicki; her three sisters-in-law, Gail Blemming (Bill), Rita Sciortino, and Lynn Sciortino; as well as many other family members, and friends both here and in Ireland.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Church, 626 So. Olden Ave., Trenton, NJ. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Allentown, NJ. Family and friends may pay their respects Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hamilton BrennaCell­ini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercervill­e Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
