SERIES HISTORY: Rider leads, 30-24. The Broncs swept last season’s two meetings and are 15-4against Niagara under head coach Kevin Baggett, including an 8-3 mark on the road.

SCOUTING RIDER: The Broncs are seeking their first 4-0start in the MAAC since they opened 5-0during the 2018-19 season. They are coming off a two-point victory over Canisius in a game that was played at Niagara due to the winter storm that battered the area. They won that game despite only four points from leading scorer Dwight Murray Jr. The senior guard is still averaging 17.1points, although he’s made just six of his last 33 shots. Mervin James and Tariq Ingraham both scored 12points last time out, and Ingraham is beginning to establish himself as a force inside. The transfer from Wake Forest is averaging 13.5points and six rebounds over the last two games. James is second on the team in scoring at 12.3points and grabs a team-best 6.7 rebounds. SCOUTING NIAGARA: The Purple Eagles are led by AllMAAC performer Noah Thomasson at 17.4points and 3.5 assists per game. Aaron Gray also averages in double figures 11.7points per game to go along with 5.8rebounds per game, which is bested only by Sam Iorio at 6.0rebounds. Iorio has also contribute­d 8.4points.
