Here are the Tuscaloosa area top performers from the week of March 4-8, from high school, tennis, soccer, baseball and softball.

Saturday, March 2

Hale County's Jamie Hocutt went 2for-3 with a run, a double, a stolen base and three RBIs in a 10-2 win over Hubbertvil­le in the Holt Tournament.

Hale County's Ragan Landrum went 1-for-1 with a run, a double and four RBIs.

Monday, March 4

Hale County's Alex Gray went 1-for-3 from the plate with a walk, run and stolen base in an 8-4 loss to West Blocton.

Hale County's Summer Stephens

went 1-for-3 from the plate with an RBI, her 20th of the season.

North River Christian Academy's Gracie Dice went 2-for-4 from the plate with a single and a triple along with one RBI and two runs in an 11-8 loss to Evangel Christian.

North River Christian Academy's Lizzy Seale went 2-for-4 from the plate with two singles.

Wednesday, March 6

Tuscaloosa County's Karlie Beasley

struck out 11 and allowed one hit through 7.0 innings in a 7-0 win over Brookwood. She also went 1-for-3 from the plate with one home run and two RBIs.

Tuscaloosa County's Kaylee Dunn

went 3-for-3 from the plate with one home run and two RBIs.

Thursday, March 7

Tuscaloosa County's Kaylee Dunn

pitched six innings, giving up five hits, three runs — two of those earned — and struck out four in a 3-2 loss to Hoover. She went 2-for-3 at the plate with two doubles and one RBI.

Tuscaloosa County's Peyton Earp

went 1-for-3 from the plate with a double.

Baseball

Sunday, March 3

Central's Braylond Smith went 8for-11 from the plate across three games with a .727 batting average, along with hitting six doubles and 10 RBIs. Wednesday, March 6

American Christian Academy's

Eric

Hines went 3-for-5 from the plate with two home runs and a single in a 6-5 loss to Tuscaloosa County.

Hillcrest's Kahden Smith went 3for-3 from the plate in a 10-0 win over Sipsey Valley, recording two doubles and a single.

Thursday, March 7

Tuscaloosa Academy defeated Sipsey Valley by a score of 8-2.

Girls soccer

Saturday, March 2

American Christian Academy's Kaylee Shaw scored two goals in a 3-0 win over Holt, while Addison Golden added one goal. Each contribute­d one assist.

Brookwood's Dassy Correa scored four goals in a 5-0 win over Paul W. Bryant.

Brookwood's Madelyn

scored her first career goal.

Tuesday, March 5

American Christian Academy's Addison Golden scored a goal assisted by

Kimber Price in a 2-1 penalty kick shootout win over Montevallo.

American Christian Academy's Anna Robbins, Kaylee Shaw, Addison Golden and Kate Robbins each scored in the penalty kick shootout.

Wednesday, March 6

Tuscaloosa Academy's Tootsie Burchfield scored the winning goal in a 1-0 win over Westminste­r School.

Tuscaloosa County's Izzy Lyons recorded 15 saves in goal in a 5-0 loss to Pelham.

Thursday, March 7

Morris

Tuscaloosa Academy's Amelia Hamiter scored five goals in a 9-0 win over Hillcrest.

Tuscaloosa Academy's Ella Williams, Elena Matos, Tootsie Burchfield and Molly Dykes each scored a goal.

Boys soccer

Wednesday, March 6

Tuscaloosa County's Jesus Quezada and Junior Solis each recorded one shot on goal in a 4-0 loss to Pelham. Thursday, March 7

Northside's Eder Miranda scored one goal and added an assist in a 3-2 loss to Montevallo in penalty kicks.

Northside's Lynn Otero and Andy Otero each scored a goal.
