POLICE REPORTS The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Ukiah Police Department. To anonymously report crime information, call 463-6205.
FIGHT: An officer responded to the 1000 block of South State Street at 12:26 a.m. Nov. 22 for a report of a fight and arrested a 27-year-old Ukiah man for violating his probation. DRUG SALES: An officer stopped a vehicle in the 13000 block of South State Street at 2:45 a.m. Nov. 22 and arrested Shaun K. Way, 41, of Ukiah, on suspicion of possessing and transporting controlled substances for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and violating his probation. He was booked into Mendocino County Jail and released on zero bail. SHOT FIRED: Caller in the 500 block of Capps Lane reported at 10:30 p.m. Nov. 22 hearing five shots fired. An officer responded but did not find anything of concern.
PEOPLE CAMPING AND REFUSING TO LEAVE:
Caller in the 100block of Talmage Road reported at 4:18 p.m. Nov. 23 that two people were camping there and refusing to leave. An officer responded and arrested a 52-year-old Ukiah woman on suspicion of public intoxication. She was booked into county jail.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:
An officer responded to the 500 block of East Perkins Street at 7:07 p.m. Nov. 23 and arrested Peter C. Kipke, 64, of Ukiah, on suspicion of domestic violence and false imprisonment. He was booked into county jail.
Those arrested by law enforcement officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the information is in error should contact the appropriate agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcement agencies are reported by the newspaper.
