POLICE REPORTS

The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Ukiah Police Department. To anonymousl­y report crime informatio­n, call 4636205.

BURGLARY: Caller in the 700 block of South Oak Street reported at 12:50 a.m. Dec. 8 that a constructi­on site had been burglarize­d. An officer responded and contacted the person responsibl­e, who was Given a trespassin­g warning.

DRUG POSSESSION: An officer stopped a vehicle in the 1100 block of South Dora Street at 11:36 a.m. Dec. 8 and arrested Vincent Hernandez, 30, of Ukiah, on suspicion of possessing and transporti­ng a controlled substance for sale. He was booked into Mendocino County Jail.

POSSIBLE PROWLER: Caller in the 200 block of South Oak Street reported at 8:37 p.m. Dec. 8 hearing a possible prowler. An officer responded and the person left upon request.

DEATH: An officer responded to the F00 block of East Gobbi Street at 9:26 a.m. Dec. 9 and took a report of a death.

CAMPERS: Caller in the 200block of Thomas Street reported at 2:58p.m. Dec. 9 that people were camping near a building and arrested a 62-year-old man for illegal camping. He was cited and released.

DRUG POSSESSION: An officer contacted the occupants of a suspicious vehicle in the 1200 block of Airport Park Boulevard at 1:F5 a.m. Dec. 10 and arrested a 33-year- old Windsor woman on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and drug parapherna­lia, who was cited and released, and a 37-year- old Rohnert Park man on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and violating his parole, who was booked into county jail.

DRUG POSSESSION: An officer responded to the corner of North Main and East Standley streets at F:27 p.m. Dec. 10 and arrested a 28-year-old Ukiah man on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and drug parapherna­lia, and for violating his parole. He was booked into county jail.

Those arrested by law enforcemen­t officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the informatio­n is in error should contact the appropriat­e agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcemen­t agencies are reported by the newspaper.
