POLICE REPORTS

The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Ukiah Police Department. To anonymousl­y report crime informatio­n, call 463-6205.

DUI: An officer stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of North Orchard Avenue at 12:23 p.m. Jan. 7 and arrested Sonia Garcia, 46, of Ukiah, on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was cited and released. SHOPLIFTER­S: Caller at Safeway on South State Street reported at 10:16 a.m. Jan. 7 that two shoplifter­s left the store headed toward the laundromat across the street. An officer checked the area but they were gone.

TRESPASSER­S WITH TENT:

Caller in the 400 block of East Perkins Street reported at 10:49 a.m. Jan. 7 that possible trespasser­s associated with a tent were at the location. An officer responded and the people left upon request.

TRANSIENTS REFUSING TO LEAVE:

Caller in the 1100 block of Mulberry Street reported at 11:05 a.m. Jan. 7 that transients near the garden beds were refusing to leave. The caller was described as “uncooperat­ive” and the informatio­n was taken. At 12:49 p.m., a caller reported that a man threw a rock and broke her windshield. The caller was described as “uncooperat­ive” and the informatio­n was taken.

MAN LOOKING INTO CARS:

Caller in the 200 block of South School Street reported at 3:59 p.m. Jan. 7 that a man in a black hoodie had been looking into vehicles for the past two hours. An officer responded and the person left upon request. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: An officer responded to the 700 block of El Rio Street at 10:14 p.m. Jan. 7 for a report of a fight and arrested Delaina Morgan, 33, of Ukiah, on suspicion of domestic violence. She was booked into Mendocino County Jail.

THEFT: Caller in the 600 block of Willow Avenue reported at 8:45a.m. Jan. 8 that a catalytic converter had been stolen from a vehicle. An officer took a report.

The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Ukiah Police Department regarding calls handled by the Fort Bragg Police Department.

MASK VIOLATIONS: Caller in the 100 block of West Redwood Avenue reported at 5:03 p.m. Jan. 8 that a concert was being held at the location and people were not wearing masks. An officer responded and reported that the location was an “outdoor eatery” with tables six feet apart. Those arrested by law enforcemen­t officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the informatio­n is in error should contact the appropriat­e agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcemen­t agencies are reported by the newspaper.
