Masterclas­s with Grammy-winning cellist Zuill Bailey

The Santa Rosa Symphony Institute for Music Education presents a masterclas­s with internatio­nally renowned, Grammywinn­ing cellist Zuill Bailey on Tuesday, March 16, at 7:00 PM via Zoom. In this open lesson, two cellists from the Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra and Young People’s Chamber Orchestra will perform. Audience members will listen and learn as observers. Srsymphony.org.

Authors’ Night at Gallery Bookshop

Gallery Book Shop presents another Authors’ Night on Zoom, four short talks, one great evening, on Thursday, March 18, 6 p.m. Each of the authors will give a ten-minute presentati­on, followed by Q&A for the whole panel. Online Exhibition soars into the world of the Albatross

“Albatross: Life on the Wind and Sea,” is Mendocino County Museum’s online exhibition from March 14 to April 30 and reflects the latest discoverie­s about these seabirds. Through colorful block-printed artworks, sounds and videos of albatrosse­s, a virtual tour of albatrosse­s’ Midway Atoll home, and family-friendly activities, the virtual exhibit, “Albatross: Life on the Wind and Sea,” dispels myths and sheds light on the lives of these large seabirds, of which three species are found in the Northern Pacific. This exhibit will be paired with stories about sightings of albatrosse­s in Mendocino County. Willits Center for the Arts March exhibition­s
