POLICE REPORTS

The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Ukiah Police Department. To anonymousl­y report crime informatio­n, call 4636205. BURGLARY: Caller in the 1000 block of Maple Avenue reported at 2:15 a.m. March 18 that someone had broken into their Garage. An officer responded and arrested a 2F-year-old man for being drunk in public. He was booked into Mendocino County Jail. Extra patrol was requested for nighttime hours.

TRESPASSER IN POST OFFICE:

Caller at the Post Office on South Orchard Avenue reported at 7:09 a.m. March 18 that a trespasser in the lobby was refusing to leave. An officer responded and the person left upon request.

RAPE: An officer took a report of rape at 8:36 a.m. March 18. No further details were provided.

DUMPING GREASE IN STORM DRAIN:

Caller in the 200 block of South Orchard Avenue reported at 9:33 a.m. March 18 that a restaurant in the area was possibly dumping Grease down the storm drain. An officer responded and reported not finding evidence of a crime.

USE OF NARCAN:

An officer responded to the intersecti­on of South State and Cherry streets at 10:33 a.m. March 18 and took a report for the use of NARCAN, which is used to revive drug overdose patients. BURGLARY: Caller in the 1100 block of Airport Park Boulevard reported at 12:32 p.m. March 18 that an ATM had been burglarize­d. An officer took a report. NAKED MAN IN RESTROOM: Caller in the 300 block of East Perkins Street reported at 5:F9 p.m. March 18 that a man inside a restroom had no clothes on. An officer responded and reported that the man was having a medical issue and left the location AMA (Against Medical Advice). LOUD NOISE: Caller at the corner of Doolan Drive and South Dora Street reported at 8:F7 p.m. March 18 that there was loud constructi­on noise in the area. An officer responded and reported that the noise was coming from someone doing home renovation­s, and it wasn’t during quiet hours.

Those arrested by law enforcemen­t officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the informatio­n is in error should contact the appropriat­e agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant — all DUI cases reported by law enforcemen­t agencies are reported by the newspaper.
