Claire Adabelle Snider

(Sappingfie­ld) passed away peacefully July 9, 2021 in Ukiah, CA. Born 2-23-1923 in Fields Landing, CA. The youngest of 5 girls, she lived most of her young and adult life in Santa Rosa where she met and married George Paul Snider July 1944 while he was home for weekend leave during WW II. Claire had three children. She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter Sandra in 2019. Survived by Carol Hallman (David) and Paul Cody (Cynthia). Preceded in death by 2 grandchild­ren, survived by 4 grandchild­ren, 6 great grandchild­ren, and 1 great great grandson. Claire loved school and earned a degree to become an elementary school teacher and taught many years in Sonoma County. While living in Idaho in 1970’s she was a real estate broker with Century 21. Claire always loved traveling and was fortunate enough to have visited many countries and nations of the world. Graveside services will be held at Ukiah Cemetery, 940 Low Gap Rd, Ukiah, CA 95482 July 19, 2021 at 11:00. Donations may be given to charity of choice or to American Cancer society. Eversole Mortuary is in charge of arrangemen­ts.

It is with great sadness that the family of Dolly Ann Stutsman (Rice) announces her passing. Dolly passed away peacefully on June 25th, 2021 at her current residence in Reno, NV.

Dolly was born in El Monte, CA on May 17th, 1940 to Willie E. Rice and Bessie E. Spencer. She moved to Ukiah, CA in 1959.

She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family, crocheting, and was a long-time member of the Ukiah Grange Associatio­n. Dolly was also a lifelong San Francisco Giants fan. She was a faithful follower of Assembly of God Church.

Dolly was preceded in death by her husband Richard C. Stutsman and is survived by her 4 children Kathy Poore, Dave, Gary, and Glen Stutsman; her 9 grandchild­ren and 3 great grandchild­ren.

A viewing will available at Eversole Mortuary on July 19th. Dolly’s services will be held graveside at Ukiah Cemetery July 20th, at 11:00am.

A reception will be held immediatel­y after the service at the Ukiah Golf Club 599 Park Blvd. Ukiah.

Janet Laree Rogers passed away peacefully on July 2, 2021 at the age of 94, at home with her devoted husband of 25 years, Bob Rogers. Laree (as she was known) was born in Logan, Utah on March 1, 1927 to Leroy and Sarah Keller.

She had a very vivacious personalit­y and she was loved by her friends in every place she ever lived or visited.

She grew up in Logan where, along with her earlier education, she was a student at Utah State University. Laree spent many years in Napa and moved to Ukiah in 1980. While in Napa, she attained her private pilot’s license and was very active in the community. She was in the Hospital auxiliary, the only

2- time President of Community Projects (a non-profit organizati­on) and also owned a craft shop.

Once Laree moved to Ukiah, she continued her community involvemen­t. She was on the board in the early stages of the Symphony Orchestra and later as the guild president of the Symphony Orchestra. She was also on the ballet board and organized the 4th of July celebratio­n for a few years. Also she managed the gift shop and was a docent at the Grace Hudson Museum. Laree was well respected n the wine industry. She had the gift shop and poured wine at Parducci and also was behind the wine bar at Mount Konocti and Graziano wineries. She also was the Social Coordinato­r for the Mendocino Vintners Associatio­n where she coordinate­d wine tastings and judging’s. Many people knew her for the Angel Party that went on annually for 35 years. Over the years she gathered about 450 angels that she and Bob displayed at the Angel Party-she was the most wonderful angel of all! More recently Laree became an honorary member of the South Ukiah Rotary.

Laree is survived by Bob Rogers, Scott Jenson her son, her sister Ruth Shegrud, 3 grandchild­ren, 4 great-grandchild­ren and many nieces and nephews. She pre-decease by her parents, a brother and two sisters.

A service will be held at the Presbyteri­an Church (514 W. Church St.) on July 25th at 3:30PM, with a celebratio­n of life memorial following at the Rivino Winery (Rivino Ranch Rd.) starting at 5:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to South Ukiah Rotary Foundation; P.O. Box 1740 Ukiah, 95482.

Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of the Eversole Mortuary.
