Roadwork planned in Mendocino County

Route 1 (20.5/22.7) — AT&T was granted a Caltrans Encroachme­nt Permit for utility work from Manchester to Alder Creek beginning Monday, Aug. 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Route 20 (16.5) — Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Route 20 (23.7/25.9) — Highway constructi­on east of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

Route 20 (32.7) — Electrical

work near Blosser Road will begin on Monday, Aug. 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate fiveminute delays.

U.S. 101 (5/5.5) — Slide removal from Comminsky Station Road to Pieta Creek Bridge will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

U.S. 101 (38/39.4) — Work south of Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect in both directions. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

U.S. 101 (48.4/49) — PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachme­nt Permit for utility work from the southbound entrance to Willits Bypass to the North Willits Railroad Crossing on Monday, Aug. 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

U.S. 101 (59) — Moss Cove Safety Rest Area will be closed through Fall 2021.

MUSIC EVENT: U.S. 101 (73.5/74.5) — The Days Between Music was granted a Caltrans Encroachme­nt Permit for a special event four miles south of Rattlesnak­e Summit (Black Oaks Ranch) beginning on Friday, Aug. 6. Lane closures will be in effect through Sunday, Aug. 8 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

U.S. 101 (82.5) — Empire Camp Safety Rest Area will be closed through Fall 2021.

U.S. 101 (103.8/106.8) — Drainage work from Piercy to the Humboldt County Line will continue. Oneway traffic control will be in effect weekdays. Motorists can anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

U.S. 101 (103.8) — Drainage work at the Piercy on and off ramp will continue. Full ramp closures will be in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should use an alternate ramp.

Route 175 (5.4/5.5) — Shoulder work east of Buckman Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect weekdays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Route 271 (19.6/22.6) — Drainage work from Old Route 101 to South Fork Eel River will continue. Oneway traffic control will be in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
