Ukiah Farmers Market: Every Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon, on School Street between Clay and Stephenson streets. There will be an array of seasonal fresh greens, fruits, cheese, honey, local ranch meats, prepared foods and more. Accepts EBT — with a matching program — and WIC. Live music each week.

The Ukiah Daily Journal is now also accepting calendar information for classes and workshops that charge a fee. If you are sponsoring or conducting a class or a workshop for which there is a fee or charge, you can now get that listed in our community calendar. The fee for publication is $15. For that fee we are happy to publish a short brief about your class (provided by you) in our community news pages as well as one calendar listing the week of the event. The fee can be mailed to our office (617 S. State St., Ukiah). Only cash or checks are accepted, no credit cards. Also, this applies only to short duration classes or workshops, not a long series or regular higher or adult education classes.
