Marcos Reynaldo Cantu

Marcos was born in Ukiah, CA on May 1st 1973. He left this world unexpectedly on August 12th, 2021. He was 48 years old. Marcos was preceded in death by his maternal Grandparents Frank and

Anita Lopez, paternal Grandfather Raul Cantu, Uncle Richard Sanchez, Aunt Yolanda Sanchez, Aunt Rosa Sanchez, Aunt Lydia Ramirez, Aunt Elsa Lopez, Uncle Rudy Lopez, and Cousin Steven Lopez. Marcos leaves behind his mother, Elma Cantu, father, Rey Cantu, and sister, Josie Cantu all of Hillsboro, OR, his son, Marquitos Cantu, AKA “DJ Marky Cash” of Ukiah, CA, paternal Grandmother Margarita “Ganny” Cantu of Hillsboro, OR, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins from Arizona, California, Idaho, Michigan, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. Marcos also leaves behind many, many friends in the Ukiah area.

Marcos grew up and attended school in Ukiah. He lived the majority of his life in the Ukiah area. In his younger years he had worked as a machinist and also attended automotive tech school in Arizona. Marcos moved to Hillsboro, Oregon in 2005, where he lived until his passing.

Marcos was a great, fun, loving and caring person. He was always willing to help out his friends and family. It was his family that he enjoyed being around most. Marcos will be missed by all those who knew him. A celebration of life will be held in Marcos’ honor beginning at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the home of Uncle Jesse and Aunt Margie Lopez, 725 Willowood Way, Windsor, CA 95492
