UKIAH VALLEY FIRE AUTHORITY FIRE:

UVFA crews were dispatched to the 1300 block of North State Street at 6:57 p.m. Friday for a report of “oak trees on fire” in between two fields.

POWER LINE DOWN: UVFA crews were dispatched to 4000 block of Old River Road in Talmage at 9:53 a.m. Saturday for a report of a tree limb falling and bringing down a power line.

FIRE: UVFA crews were dispatched to Highway 101 near Gobbi Street Saturday at 12:09 p.m. for a report of a fire under the overpass.

FLOODING: Caller in the 1700 block of Talmage Court reported at 8:14 p.m. Saturday that water had been running in the neighbor’s backyard for more than three hours and no one was home.

STABBING: UVFA crews were dispatched to the 3900 block of Seiji Way at 10:27 a.m. Sunday for a report of a stabbing.

FIRE: UVFA crews responded to the 100 block of Observator­y Avenue at 3:24 p.m. Monday for a report of a bush on fire.

FIRE: UVFA crews were dispatched to Highway 253 for a collision that occurred several miles west of Ukiah around 9:55 p.m. Monday and “started a small fire.”

DUI: An officer stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of East Gobbi Street at 1:44 a.m. Aug. 14 and arrested Javier Pineda, 32, of Ukiah, on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was booked into Mendocino County Jail.

DUI: An officer stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of South State Street at 12:45 a.m. Aug. 15 and arrested Maria G. Aguero, 24, of Covelo, on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was booked into county jail.

DUI: An officer stopped a vehicle at East Perkins Street and Hospital Drive at 1:46 a.m. Aug. 15 and

arrested Niall Vannucci, 25, of Ukiah, on suspicion of driving under the influence. They were cited and released.

DUI: An officer contacted the driver of a suspicious vehicle in the 1200 block of Elm Street at 4:53 a.m. Aug. 15 and arrested Alexi Rangel, 24, of Ukiah, on suspicion of driving under the influence.they were cited and released.

DUI: An officer stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of East Perkins Street at 12:16 a.m. Aug. 16 and arrested Daniel Nunez-castelan, 24, of Ukiah, on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was cited and released.

DUI: An officer stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Clara Avenue at 1:46 a.m. Aug. 16 and arrested Rachel Donnelly, 28, of Ukiah, on suspicion of driving under the influence.

DUI: An officer stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of East Perkins Street at 1:49 a.m. Aug. 16 and arrested David G. Cruz-lopez, 35, of Bogota, Columbia, on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was booked

into county jail. CAMPING FIRE BY RIVER:

Caller at Riverside Park reported at 8:24 a.m. Aug. 16 that someone camping by the river had a fire.an officer responded and reported not finding a fire, but counseling the person there. Those arrested by law enforcemen­t officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the informatio­n is in error should contact the appropriat­e agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant: all DUI cases reported by law enforcemen­t agencies are reported by the newspaper.
