UKIAH VALLEY FIRE AUTHORITY FIRE:

UVFA crews were dispatched when a caller at 11:13 p.m. Nov. 19 reported that a possible campfire was in the creek bed near Big Lots on South Orchard Avenue.

FORCIBLE ENTRY: UVFA crews were dispatched to the 3800 block of North State Street at 9:28 a.m. Saturday to help Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office deputies with a forcible entry.

FIRE: UVFA crews were dispatched at 10:42 a.m. Saturday for a report of flames in the 500 block of Pinolevill­e Drive.

PERSON STRUCK BY CAR:

UVFA crews responded to Building Bridges community center at 6:41 p.m. Sunday for a report of a person hit by a car. A Ukiah Police officer responded and took a report.

POLICE REPORTS

CEREAL STOLEN: Caller in the 700 block of East Gobbi Street reported at 9:45 a.m. Nov. 9 that cereal had been stolen from their cabinet. The caller added that there had been no forced entry and that they were leaving for work.

WOMAN DUMPING GARBAGE IN YARD:

Caller on El Rio Court reported at 7:54 p.m. Nov. 9 that a woman in a Jeep was “dumping garbage in his yard.” An officer responded and reported that the garbage was picked up and the woman was leaving. THEFT: Caller in the 600 block of Willow Avenue reported at 8:16 a.m. Nov. 10 that a catalytic converter had been stolen. An officer took a report.

THEFT: Caller in the 300 block of Mendocino Drive reported at 12:20 p.m. Nov. 10 that a catalytic converter had been stolen. An officer took a report.

DUI: An officer stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of North State Street at 8:42 p.m. Nov. 12 and arrested Marco Munoz-reyes, 33, of Ukiah, on suspicion of driving under the influence and violating his probation. He was booked into Mendocino County Jail.

SHOTS FIRED: Caller near Pomolita Middle School on North Spring Street reported at 9:27 p.m. Nov. 12 hearing shots fired. An officer responded and checked the area.

DEAD CAT: Caller at the corner of West Mill and Barbara streets reported at 10:10 p.m. Nov. 12 that a dead cat was in the area. Those arrested by law enforcemen­t officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the informatio­n is in error should contact the appropriat­e agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcemen­t agencies are reported by the newspaper.
