OVERDOSE: UVFA crews were dispatched to Jackin-the-box on Airport Park Boulevard at 7:41 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a possible overdose, age and gender of patient unknown. FLOODING: UFVA crews were dispatched to the corner of Ford and Masonite roads at 11:07 p.m. Tuesday when a caller reported that a water main had snapped and was “draining hundreds of gallons of water on Ford Road.”

PUPPY TRAPPED: UVFA crews were dispatched to the 2400 block of North State Street at 11:07 p.m. Thursday for a report of a “puppy possibly trapped in an air duct.”

FIRE: UVFA crews were dispatched to a hotel in the 1300 block of North State Street at 12:45 a.m. Friday for a report of a debris fire in front of one of the rooms.

FIRE: UVFA crews were dispatched to the 300 block of North Main Street at 4:27 p.m. Friday for a report of a fire inside an oven. OVERDOSE: UVFA crews were dispatched to the Willow Terrace apartments on East Gobbi Street at 6:49 p.m. Friday for a report of a 27-year-old male possibly overdosing on Dust-off.

POLICE REPORTS

The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Ukiah Police Department. To anonymousl­y report crime informatio­n, call 463-6205. DUI: An officer stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of North Orchard Avenue at 12:34 a.m. Nov. 13 and arrested Gopala Lustig, 35, of Talmage, on suspicion of driving under the influence. The driver was cited and released.

DUI: An officer stopped a vehicle in the 1300 block of North State Street at 1:39 a.m. Nov. 13 and arrested Salvador Arnoldi, 36, no city of residence given, on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was cited and released. ASSAULT: Caller in the 1300 block of Helen Avenue reported at 8:31 a.m. Nov. 13 that his brother threw something that hit him in the head. An officer responded and arrested a 15-year-old on suspicion of assault. The teen was booked into juvenile hall. KIDS SHOOTING BB GUNS: Caller at Low Gap Park reported at 4:28 p.m. Nov. 13 that kids were shooting BB guns behind the tennis courts. An officer responded but the kids were gone.

DEAD CAT: Caller in the 1100 block of South Dora Street reported at 6:47 p.m. Nov. 13 finding a dead cat in the area.

DUI: An officer stopped a vehicle at Chevron on East Perkins Street at 2:02 a.m. Nov. 14 and arrested Evan Jones, 34, of Ukiah, on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was cited and released. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND DUI: Caller in the 700 block of North Oak Street reported at 2:32 a.m. Nov. 14 that a fight was occurring in a vehicle. An officer responded and arrested Kevin Leonard, 27, of Ukiah, on suspicion of domestic violence, and Lariza Gonzales, 24, of Ukiah, on suspicion of driving under the influence. Both suspects were booked into Mendocino County Jail. KNIVES AT GARAGE SALE: Caller in the 200 block of East Gobbi Street reported at 10:43 a.m. Nov. 14 that kitchen knives were being given away at a garage sale. No officer was dispatched. BURGLARY: An officer responded to the 900 block of South State Street at 5:34 a.m. Nov. 15 when a caller reported a burglary in progress and arrested Bradley Timmer, 31, of Michigan, on suspicion of burglary, possession of burglary tools and resisting arrest. He was booked into county jail. WARMING FIRE: An officer responded to the 700 block of South State Street at 1:16 p.m. Nov. 15 for a report of transients starting a warming fire and reported that the group was leaving. Those arrested by law enforcemen­t officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the informatio­n is in error should contact the appropriat­e agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcemen­t agencies are reported by the newspaper.
