- Cheer-i-o!

“If a natural disaster strikes your community, reach out to your friends, neighbors, and complete strangers. Lend a helping hand.” – Marsha Blackburn, U.S. Senator, Tenn.

Tragic fire

Eloise Tanega Davenport wrote: “On June 9, our parents – Carl and Glenda Davenport – lost everything in a house fire. It started in the garage, tore through the attic, and destroyed everything through smoke, water, and asbestos damage.

Thankfully, there were no injuries, but they got out of the house with only the pajamas on their backs (not even their shoes). They, along with our sister and nephew, will be displaced for a while and will have to start all over.

“This was a family home, handed down from our grandparents and filled with precious photos and irreplaceable belongings. If you would like to help, even the smallest act of kindness would make a huge difference. Please keep them in your prayers and thank you!”
