POLICE REPORTS

The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Ukiah Police Department. To anonymousl­y report crime informatio­n, call 707-463-6205.

SOMETHING THROWN AT WINDOW: Caller in the 700 block of South Oak Street reported at 12:27a.m. Jan. 28that an unknown person threw something at her window. An officer checked the area but did not find anything of concern.

DUI: An officer stopped a vehicle on Watson Road at 12:49a.m. Jan. 28and arrested Timothy Reveles, 36, of Ukiah, on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was cited and released.

DOG BITE: An officer responded to the emergency room at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley at 6:40 a.m. Jan. 28 and took a report of a dog bite.

ENCAMPMENT: Caller in the 300block of East Perkins Street reported at 10:39 a.m. Jan. 28 that a “large transient encampment” was there. An officer responded and reported that the people were “packing up and will be leaving.”

ARSON: An officer responded to Ford Street at the railroad tracks at 9:45 p.m. Jan. 28 and took a report of arson.

LOUD PARTY: Caller in the 100 block of Leslie Street reported at 12:45a.m. Jan. 29 that people in the area were “drinking and being loud.” An officer responded and reported that the people were “warned and advised.” At 3:05 a.m., a caller reported loud music at the location. A different officer responded and advised the group to turn off the music.

SHOTS FIRED: Caller at the corner of West Gobbi and South School streets reported at 9:42p.m. Jan. 29 hearing shots fired. An officer checked the area and found it quiet.

CAMPING CITATION: An officer contacted a “suspicious person” on Perry Street at 1:53a.m. Jan. 30 and cited a 54-year-old Point Arena woman for violating city camping codes and for polluting state waterways.

DEAD SQUIRREL: Caller in the 600block of Capps Lane reported at 5:22p.m. Jan. 30 that a dead squirrel was in front of their location.

VEHICLE PROWLING:

Caller on Kings Court requested at 5:18a.m. Jan. 31 that officers conduct extra patrols in the area for people “stealing from vehicles.”

CAT SET OFF ALARM:

Caller in the 200 block of North Hope Street reported at 5:27 a.m. Jan. 31 that a residentia­l alarm sounding was due to a “feline accidental activation.” STOLEN VEHICLE: An officer responded to the corner of East Gobbi Street and South Orchard Avenue at 5:34p.m. Jan. 31and took a report of a stolen vehicle.

CAMPING CITATIONS:

An officer checking the 100 block of Talmage Road at 9:53 p.m. Jan. 31 cited five people for violating city camping codes: A 62-year-old Willits man; a

64-year-old Ukiah woman; a 42-year-old Ukiah man; a 53-year-old Ukiah man and a 36-year-old Florida woman.

Those arrested by law enforcemen­t officers are innocent until proven guilty.
