The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

7:24 a.m., trespass/loiter — A woman camped behind a church on Snell Street and refused to leave.

8:40 a.m., theft — A licence plate was stolen the day before at a business on Old Wards Ferry Road.

10:25 a.m., theft — medication was stolen from a purse two weeks ago while at a business on Sanguinett­i Road.

12:23 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ce — A man was observed taking an item out of the bed of a work truck on South Stewart Street.

1:16 p.m., theft — A Sanguinett­i Road business employee was terminated four days earlier for stealing.

2:49 p.m., theft — A man on Mono Way said his roommate gave his daughter’s bicycle to a transient.

7:00 p.m., any civil problem — A woman at a Mono Way business requested an officer respond to make the store refund her for over charging her.

8:45 p.m., theft — A woman at a Sanguinett­i Road business said money was stolen out of her purse

10:30 p.m., trespass/loiter — A woman refused to leave the front entrance to the ER of a Greenley Road hospital.

SATURDAY

12:48 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A large man was in a vehicle in front of a woman’s Shaws Flat Road home when she heard a loud bang and more loud bangs as he took off towards a school.

3:35 p.m., traffic violations — Water balloons were thrown at passing cars on North Stewart Street.

7:14 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A mailbox on Shaws Flat Road was damaged.

8:03 p.m., threats — A man on South Barretta said his ex roommate stole his speaker and when he confronted the ex roommate he threatened to harm him and his family.

10:04 p.m., animal complaint — A man on Hill Road saw a cat knock over a mailbox.

11:23 p.m., public intoxicati­on — A man removed his short while in the roadway of West Stockton Street.

SUNDAY

8:48 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Loud church music played from a church on West Stockton Street.

12:28 p.m., trespass/loiter — A previously trespassed woman was on aisle 8 collecting merchandis­e in her black bags when told the Old Wards Ferry business was going to call the police the woman removed the items from her bags and person and walked out.

1:16 p.m., A man stole a drink from the shelf of a South Washington Street business and behaved aggressive­ly and stated he wanted law enforcemen­t called.

8:34 p.m., trespass/loiter — A woman danced on the sidewalk and solicited an employee of a West Stockton Street business.

3:41 p.m., Valley Springs — An assault was reported on Baldwin Street.

3:56 p.m., Copperopol­is — Burglary was reported on Yuma Court.

5:21 p.m., Valley Springs — An assault was reported on Baldwin Street.

11:40 p.m., Valley Springs — Carolyn Toni Williams, 46, of the 4410 block of Baldwin Lane, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft and receiving known stolen property of $950 or more following an arrest on White Road at Berkesey Lane.

11:11 a.m., Valley Springs — James Haire, 33, of the 510 block of Highway 49, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft, possessing a stolen vehicle/vessel and misdemeano­r possession of unlawful parapherna­lia following an arrest on Highway 12 at Toyon Circle.

9:47 p.m., San Andreas — Christian Michael Rogers, 35, of the 1060 block of Knief Lane, was booked on suspicion of threatenin­g a crime with intent to terrorize and misdemeano­r exhibiting a deadly weapon not a firearm following an arrest at his home.
