Transparency And Trump

To the Editor:

According to Webster's Dictionary, transparency means being “open, frank, candid, outspoken, sincere, straight-forward and honest.”

If we If we look back over the past three and a half years, there has never been a president in the history of our country, who has been more transparent to the American people then Donald

Trump. Even before he became president his campaign consisted of unprecedented rallies across the country, attended by thousands of Americans supporting his two slogans to “Make America Great Again” and “Make America First Again.”

Since then he continues to respond to every emergency such as hurricane, tornado, floods and forest fires. He goes to these incidents with financial support and empathy to those suffering in these tragedies. When the COVID-19 epidemic in China began, he immediately shut the door on them entering the U.S.A.. He then set up a commission headed by Vice President Pence including scientists and pharmaceutical experts to attack the problem.

For many weeks he appeared on TV daily with the commission to keep us informed. In addition he contacted governors and mayors offering Federal Government funding, equipment and resources if and when needed. At this writing he is doing an excellent job and working hard to balancing the unprecedented needs of the COVID-19 epidemic and bringing the economy back to normal again.

In retrospect, President Trump has survived the attacks of “Russia Russia,” Racist Fascists” and the impeachment fiasco. In addition he continues to fight the left wing socialist movement and all the neverending negative barrage from the “Fake News” lead by CNN T.V., New York Times and the Washington Post.

As l've said before, this man, our president, is a miracle worker. God Bless what he has done and continues to do for all of us.
