The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

5:52 a.m., theft — A small generator was stolen from a Greenley Road business.

1:17 p.m., assault — An older man slapped another man across the hand before entering a business on Mono Way.

7:07 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ce — Two men and two women walked around a business on Stockton Road and asked for “Troy” because they wanted to beat him up.

8:08 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man and a woman appeared to be on drugs as they screamed and yelled at each other while they went through their vehicle at a business on Mono Way.

8:33 p.m., suspicions circumstan­ces — A person was in a yard on School Street with a flashlight.

8:46 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A man screamed, yelled and carried a beer as he went in and out of a business on Sanguinett­i Road.

9:08 p.m., assault — A man entered a business on Restano Way and said another man threw a soda at him.

10:02 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A woman on Lyons Bald Mountain said someone banged on her door in the night.

10:11 p.m., assault — A woman on South Washington Street said a man stabbed her boyfriend in the hand and threw a bicycle at him.

12:07 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on Peppermint Circle said a man took her phone and keys.

12:52 a.m., Jamestown — An employee of a Chicken Ranch Road business was assaulted by a guest.

3:47 a.m., Sonora — A woman on Serrano Road said her daughter’s father was drunk and caused an argument and wanted to take their daughter with him.

7:59 a.m., Twain Harte — A community garden on Meadow Drive was vandalized.

8:11 a.m., Columbia — A person on Italian Bar Road saw a man pick up a small dog and punch it repeatedly.

9:01 a.m., Sonora — A woman on Avenida Bonita North saw a dark vehicle on the street with two people in it, then she heard what she believed to be a gunshot.

9:03 a.m., Mi-wuk Village — A woman on Lama Road said someone used her Social Security number to open accounts.

9:09 a.m., Twain Harte — A man on Middle Camp Sugarpine Road said his neighbor intentiona­lly blew dust into his residence with a leaf blower.

9:29 a.m., Twain Harte — A person ontowhee Lane found a dead rat in their mailbox.

11:11 a.m., Sonora — Threats were made to a person on Oxbow Lane North via social media.

11:24 a.m., Groveland — A cyber bullying incident was reported at a school on Ferretti Road.

2:32 p.m., Columbia — A burglary was reported on Italian Bar Road.

4:24 p.m., Moccasin — A lock box and keys were stolen on Grizzly Road.

6:10 p.m., Sonora — A woman on Isom Lane said her father left a letter at her residence that threatened extortion.

8:27 p.m., Jamestown — Trash was dumped on Willow Street.
