One step from communism

To the Editor:

During the last three months I've discussed the upcoming election and found out many of my friends and neighbors don't know the real meaning of terms like socialism and communism. So, here are the definitions directly from Webster's Dictionary:

Socialism is a system of social organization which advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production, capital, land etc... in the country as a whole. In Marxism theory, the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism is characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.

Communism is a theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state. Communism is a system or social organization in which all economic and social activity is controlled by a totalitarian state dominated by a single perpetrating political party. Totalitarianism means one political group maintains complete control under a dictator, such as Hitler.

So, what this tells us is that the Democrat Socialist Party and their Green Deal are one step from communism. If or when this happens, we would be joining the ranks of Communist Russia, China and North Korea. Voters, is this what YOU want for America?
