We deserve free and fair elections

To the Editor:

In advocating for vigilantes to take over our polling places, this president, who swore to protect and defend the constitution, is committing sedition. “Sedition is overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that tends toward insurrection against the established order. Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent toward, or resistance against, established authority,” according to Wikipedia.

Our polls and polling places have long held rules and regulations that assure an accurate count, and all citizens have a right to vote without fear or intimidation, yet this president who, because he fears he is losing, chooses to ignore all norms that have protected our free right to vote for several centuries and throw our electoral process into chaos. If you are a patriot, if you do believe in law and order, do not let this happen to our beloved country! Vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris!

Also, please vote for Brynne Kennedy for Congress because Tom Mcclinock has been nothing but a rubber stamp for Trump, and neither one of them has done a thing for the citizens of this district! As a matter of fact, Tom is most well known for his efforts to take away health care and Social Security benefits for seniors, and with businesses still struggling, he voted against additional COVID relief funds! Tom just does not believe that our tax dollars should come back to the communities he is supposed to represent, and he has failed us time and again! Vote for someone that has our interests in mind and will act to promote them. Vote for Brynne Kennedy!
