The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

9:13 a.m., obstructin­g justice/resisting officer — A woman refused to leave the back gate and stated that all of the kids were hers at a business on South Shepherd.

10:24 a.m., animal complaints — Someone’s dog got loose in the parking lot of a business on Sanguinett­i Road, and an unknown woman picked it up and put it in her vehicle and dropped it off at Tuolumne County Animal Control.

10:29 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man was “rage screaming” at Rotary Park on Woods Creek Drive.

11:25 a.m., vandalism, property damage — Someone attempted to force open a change machine and damaged it at a business on Mono Way.

1:45 p.m., graffiti — A man marked the ground and walls with spray paint at a business on Stockton Road.

2:11 p.m., fraudulent activities — Someone attempted to purchase a truck on social media and paid $1,500 and another $1,000 to ship it. The person was advised by their bank that it was a scam.

8:06 p.m., trespass/loiter — A woman attempted to steal from a business on Sanguinett­i Road, twice, and was stopped at the door. She returned and threatened to get her friends and beat up the employee.
