The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

7:53 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A vehicle was left in front of a parking lot of a business on Stockton Road.the registered owner was contacted and said she signed the vehicle over to someone else, and she believed the vehicle was not driveable. Someone came and got the vehicle.

10:59 a.m., vandalism, property damage — The glass was etched on a large front window at a business on South Stewart Street.

10:13 p.m., theft — A woman said a man she dated stole her wallet when he left her residence on Linoberg Street.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

3:41 a.m., Columbia — A woman said someone was in her house on Covington Road.

6:31 a.m., Jamestown — Someone found a horse in the roadway and put it in a pen at their residence, and the horse was upset over the strange environmen­t.

7:09 a.m., La Grange — A woman said her neighbor’s cow was in her yard on Las Cruces.

8:39 a.m., Jamestown — A fight or a disturbanc­e occurred on Preston Lane.

11:47 a.m., Jamestown — A woman, in a car with a damaged trunk, slept in her car at a service station on Highway 108.

11:59 a.m., Chinese Camp — Video footage from a trail camera showed people stealing hoses, a tool box and other items on Perricone Road.

1:40 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said a man and a woman camped on their property and “are now choking each other out” on Tulloch Road.

2:06 p.m., Sonora — Fraud occurred on Via Este.

5:17 p.m., Sonora — Someone had an issue with a neighbor over a fence on Phoenix Lake Road.

8 p.m., Columbia — A woman was in a fight or disturbanc­e with her boyfriend on Bullpine Road.

9:57 p.m., Sonora — A woman said her roommate brought people from out of town for the holidays, and she is worried she will get COVID from them and wanted an emergency protective order on Sparrow Lane.

12:17 p.m., Wallace — A burglary occurred on Highway 12.

1:17 p.m., Valley Springs — An assault occurred on Bartelink Drive.

6:07 p.m., Copperopol­is — Criminal contempt occurred on Little John Road.
