The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:43 a.m., theft — A shoplifter stole juice and food from a grocery store on South Washington Street.

10:25 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Three men fought at an apartment on Greenley Road.

10:40 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Two men appeared intoxicate­d and one vomited at a business on Sanguinett­i Road. It was determined that they were brothers and that neither were intoxicate­d. The ill man drank too many energy drinks.

2:17 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A woman on Alpine Lane said a man came on to her porch the night before and stole a package. He took it to another part of the yard and opened it but did not take the contents. The woman said a neighbor reported someone with the same descriptio­n on his property a mile away.

4:32 p.m., trespass/loiter — A big tent was set up on the hillside between the railroad tracks and South Washington Street.

6:22 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Someone said a neighbor was loud on Lyons Street.

SATURDAY

1:57 a.m., trespass/loiter —

A patient refused to leave the lobby at a business on Greenley Road.

9:35 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Someone said a person ”rifled through” their mail and neighbors’ mail on Ridge Road.

9:38 a.m., burglary — An employee of a business on South Shepherd Street said a car trailer was broken into at the business.

10:57 a.m., any civil problem — A woman said a roommate threatened her and her fiancé on East Jackson Street.

11:23 a.m., reckless driving — A woman said a man in a pickup truck with the word “dangerous” on it almost hit her at an intersecti­on on South Washington Street.

2:30 p.m., theft — Someone said a man left a store on Sanguinett­i Road with items concealed in his pockets and in a red bag. He ran across a parking lot and dropped the bag but still had items in his pockets. A man had a barbecue set up and was using it on Stockton Road. An officer arrested the man for previous warrants and the other people put out the fire and left the area.

8:31 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man refused to leave the front desk of a business on South Washington Street.

8:36 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Someone heard a man screaming in pain for approximat­ely 1 1/2 hours

on Shaw’s Flat Road. An officer checked out the area and was unable to locate anyone screaming.

SUNDAY

7:06 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A wireless caller said a woman smoked a bong, tailgated her from Angels Camp, and turned into a shopping center on Mono Way.

9:47 a.m., any civil problem — A woman said neighbors came on to her property to retrieve packages of theirs that were delivered to her house in error.the woman saw it happen on her security camera and said neighbors did not contact her or leave a note. When she confronted her neighbors about it they were rude to her.

11:37 a.m., trespass/loiter — A man loitered in front of a business and refused to leave on Stockton Road.

2:37 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man drove past a man in the roadway holding a sign near Courthouse Square. The man told the other man to move off the roadway so he would not be injured and the man yelled, called him names and threatened to kill him. An officer responded but the man left.

2:42 p.m., public intoxicati­on — An unclothed, bloody man rolled under a vehicle into the street gutter. An officer requested medical help and the man was arrested and booked for public intoxicati­on.

3:47 p.m., animal complaints — Someone said a black dog was chained up with a chainsaw next to him on Hospital Road. A second caller said she tied the dog to a post when she found him running down the road with a chainsaw attached to him.the dog was returned to its owner, and there was no blade on the chainsaw.

4:12 p.m., theft — A woman was in custody for shopliftin­g at a business on Sanguinett­i Road.

6:02 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Someone tried to persuade a woman to get into their car, she refused, and the car sped off on North Forest Road.

6:21 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A trucker was parking in a loading dock of a business on Sanguinett­i Road when a man got out of a vehicle and disabled the brake line to his trailer.

7:56 p.m.,trespass/loiter — A woman with a buzz cut threw a pizza at an employee’s vehicle and requested that she be trespassed from the business on Sanguinett­i Road.

11:23 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man said another man hit him in the face and his nose bled. Later, he said they were fine and didn’t need assistance and were going to bed for the night on Bonanza Road.
