The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

7:38 a.m., animal complaints — A large buck was in a bus yard at an elementary school on Greenley Road, but eventually left the area.

9:32 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A man on East Live Oak Drive said an unknown man came onto his property and looked at a vehicle that was not in plain view. The man said he asked to photograph a wiring harness, but did not get a photo and provided a nonworking phone number. He left the area in a black spray-painted car with no front passenger seat or rear seats.

9:44 a.m., theft — A woman gave people a ride to East Sonora and, when she arrived at a business on Sanguinett­i Road, she noticed items were missing from her car.

11:17 a.m., fire call — Someone called to report a fire behind a business on Old Wards Ferry Road.

2:17 p.m., pedestrian/vehicle checks — A maintenanc­e worker at a business on South Green Street flagged down an officer to request two people leave the area.

7:17 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Two men wearing bandanas pulled into a business on Mono Way, then drove away quickly and parked at another business. Officers responded and determined the men ran out of gas and were waiting for someone to bring them more.

9:45 p.m., weapons violations — A man on North Washington Street said he heard a gunshot or a backfire in the area near School Street. Officers responded but were unable to locate the source.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

5:40 a.m., Sonora — A woman said she dropped off items at a donation bin on Striker Court and someone came up behind her in a dark-colored vehicle and flashed their lights at her.

7:00 a.m., Sonora — A woman picked up some of the mail scattered in front of her residence on Zekarias Court and her husband waited at home for law enforcemen­t.

7:18 a.m., Sonora — A fight or disturbanc­e occurred at a restaurant on Mono Way.

8:43 a.m., Sonora — A theft occurred at a business on Camage Avenue.

9:23 a.m., Sonora — Someone said there was a fire at the entrance to the estates on Lyons Bald Mountain Road.

9:49 a.m., Sonora — A Robin Ridge Road caller heard an explosion, possibly a transforme­r, and the call was transferre­d to Cal Fire.

10:59 a.m., Sonora — A woman said her neighbor’s burn pile was spreading to her property on Rusty Spur Road.

11:03 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone said strange people were in an RV park on Highway 108 overnight and honked their horn and knocked on doors.

11:06 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said jewelry was missing from her dresser on Mill Villa Road.

11:16 a.m., Jamestown — An assault occurred at a mobile home park on Highway 108.

11:28 a.m., Sonora — A man in a blue jacket and blue jeans was lying on the side of the road on the northbound side of Mono Way..

12:02 p.m., Sonora — A theft occurred at a business on Mono Way.

2:09 p.m., Sonora — Someone said a transforme­r blew on Sturgis Road and it rained down sparks.

3:28 a.m., Sonora — Someone found mail on the roadway on Old Wards Ferry Road.

3:50 p.m., Sonora — A fight occurred at an eatery on Mono Way.

4:30 p.m., Columbia — A business owner on Parrots Ferry Road said someone attempted to break into her shop.

4:41 p.m., Columbia — Fraud occurred at a business on Parrotts Ferry Road.

9:21 p.m., Columbia — A woman said she returned to her home on Broadway Street after being gone for a few days and found it had been burglarize­d.

9:38 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said a woman in the bushes behind an apartment complex caused problems and made threats to them and to neighbors on Preston Lane.

WEDNESDAY

5:16 a.m., Sonora — A fight or disturbanc­e occurred on Whitto Mine Road.

8:50 a.m., Sonora — Tires were stolen from a Wasatch Mountain Drive property.

9:37 a.m., Soulsbyvil­le — A man who was out for a run with his dog reported being harassed on Willow Springs Drive.

9:47 a.m., Soulsbyvil­le — A man wanted to speak to a deputy regarding a neighbor who did not have his dog on a leash and who made threats on Willow Springs Drive.

10:11 a.m., Sonora — Someone was drunk in public at a bus stop and was arrested on Mono Way.

11:24 a.m., Sonora — A person in a white vehicle yelled at a female deputy in front of the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office on Lower Sunset Drive.

12:19 p.m., Sonora — Someone said every mailbox in a row along Crystal Falls Drive was open and they closed all of the mailboxes.

12:24 p.m., Jamestown — A vehicle was taken from a gated and locked storage area on Old Melones Dam Road.

12:44 p.m., Jamestown — A vehicle was burglarize­d at a mobile home park on Old Melones Dam Road.

1:06 p.m., Sonora — A vehicle was burglarize­d on Feather River Drive.

1:40 p.m., Sonora — A man saw someone steal his trailer on Upper Quail Mine Road.

1:55 p.m., Sonora — Someone said a red pickup truck was parked in a known drug area on Lyons Bald Mountain Road and requested a patrol check.

1:58 p.m., Sonora — Someone said people camped illegally on Old Wards Ferry Road.

2:16 p.m., Sonora — A burglary occurred on Bryce Lane.

3:00 p.m., Jamestown — An assault occurred on Maple Alley.

3:40 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone wanted to ask a deputy about upholding their oath to protect people on Cedar Pines Avenue.

4:37 p.m., Jamestown — Lumber and wood (milled slabs and rounds) valued at $1,000 were taken from a gated private property on Peoria Flat Road.

4:54 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said a motorcycli­st pulled alongside him in his vehicle on Confidence Road, damaged his vehicle and drove away.

7:36 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone said a man drove up in a truck and went into the house across the street and left the engine running with its lights on for an hour and a half on Carter Street.

10:12 p.m., Sonora — A prowler was reported on Longeway Road.

TUESDAY

10:22 p.m., Jamestown — Tori Morgan Rowe, 26, of the 1100 block of Shaws Flat Road, Sonora, was booked following an arrest on Jeanese Drive.

9:34 p.m., Jamestown — Kyle Andrew Tomasovich, 29, of the 18000 block of Ward Ferry Road, Sonora, was booked following an arrest on Highway 49 at Fifth Avenue.

WEDNESDAY

12:46 p.m., Sonora — Kimberly Irene Coey, 50, was booked following an arrest on Stockton Road.

1:46 p.m., Sonora — Irene Teresa Hammock, 28, of the 20000 block of Sparrow Lane, was booked on suspicion of being a felon/addict/etc., in possession of a firearm and misdemeano­r charges of receiving/etc., known stolen property of $950 or less and possession of controlled substance parapherna­lia, following an arrest at her home.

10:08 a.m., San Andreas — Fraud occurred on West St. Charles Street.

3:03 p.m., Campo Seco — A theft occurred on Watertown Road.

5:59 p.m., Burson — Vandalism occurred on Cheyenne Drive.

11:57 p.m., Campo Seco — A disturbanc­e occurred on Campo Seco Road.
