TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:24 a.m., burglary — A city building on Southgate Drive was broken into.

1:17 p.m., miscellane­ous harassment — A patient at a business on Greenley Road threatened to beat up a doctor outside of his residence. An officer spoke with the parties, and the patient denied making threats. The doctor was advised about the restrainin­g order process.

2:25 p.m., lost, found property — A tool box was found near a business on Restano Way.

2:42 p.m., theft — A woman was passed out in the passenger side of a vehicle at a business on Sanguinett­i Road. The driver’s side door was wide open and her purse was inside. The woman was okay but a man was cited and they both left the area.

6:20 p.m., theft — A woman in her 20s wearing acid-washed jeans, Adidas shoes and a red backpack put merchandis­e in her backpack and left with another woman and a man.

SATURDAY

8:25 p.m., trespass/loiter — Someone with a trespass letter on file said two people trespassed their business on Calaveras Street. Officers advised them of the complaint and they packed up their tent.

9:18 a.m., trespass/loiter — A man with dark brown hair, dark eyes and dirty clothes punched shopping carts at a business on Mono Way. He was asked to leave but went into the store and locked himself in the bathroom and was heard punching the walls. An officer served a trespass notice and the man left on foot.

2:28 p.m., trespass/loiter — A store customer said a man slept in front of a store on Sanguinett­i Road and they wanted him to move along. The store manager said the people were not interrupti­ng business and he had no authority to make them leave. The people were contacted and advised of the complaint and they agreed to gather their property and move along.

6:01 p.m., miscellane­ous codes — Officers coming on duty noticed a business on South Washington Street seemed full of patrons and the parking lot was full. A dispatcher found a post on social media that said the business was having a tribute to a woman.

10:24 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A door at the United States Post Office South Washington Street was forced open. An officer secured the doors, and employees were advised.

SUNDAY

5:45 a.m., burglary — A South Washington Street businesses was burglarize­d.

9:24 a.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Someone said a man with a dark ponytail, goatee and white long-sleeved shirt was intoxicate­d because. The man shook, moved his head in jerky movements and yelled at a business on Stockton Road. An officer determined that the man was not intoxicate­d and that he had recently been released from Tuolumne County Jail.

10:09 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A man said someone tried to kick open his metal garage door on South Shepherd Street.

10:01 p.m., pedestrian/vehicle checks — Someone refused to leave a restroom at Grigsby Park on South Green Street. They left, eventually, and the restroom was secured.

10:45 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — A man said he was followed and yelled at by a man in a gray sweater and jeans in a parking lot of a business on Sanguinett­i Road.the man got in a silver truck and it was unknown if he left the area.

7:01 a.m., Sonora — A man on Camage Avenue said a woman told him his car belonged to her.

8:28 a.m., Jamestown — People were camped on property on Highway 108.

8:53 a.m., Jamestown — A woman got out of a black vehicle with flashers on and stole mail out of mailboxes on LaGrange Road.

8:56 a.m., Columbia — Mail theft occurred on Souza Lane.

9:39 a.m., Long Barn — Fuel was stolen on Upper Scenic Drive.

9:58 a.m., Sonora — A catalytic converter was stolen from a truck at a business on Tuolumne Road.

11:46 a.m., Columbia — A vehicle was vandalized on Bill Hill Road.

1:47 p.m., Groveland — An FCC employee said someone reported threats on Clements Road.

3:29 p.m., Sonora — A guest was “outraged” at a business on Mono Way.

3:59 p.m., Sonora — A theft occurred at a business on Camage Court.

4:58 p.m., Sonora — A house was on fire on a hill on Shaws Flat Road.

5:02 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said a man in a white truck yelled and threw trash around at a business on Jamestown Road.

5:27 p.m., Columbia — Someone said a woman in a car left a Shepard-mix dog on the side of the road on Parrotts Ferry Road.

5:39 p.m., Jamestown — A Main Street business was burglarize­d.

5:59 p.m., Sonora — An assault occurred on Wards Ferry Road.

6:46 p.m., Sonora — Somebody attempted to break into a business on Mono Way.

SATURDAY

4:52 a.m., Jamestown — A woman said her 2004 red Honda dirt bike was taken from their her yard three days ago on Old Melones Dam Road.

6:56 a.m., Sonora — A bearded man, in a black shirt, dark pants, dark shoes and a baseball cap tried to set fire to something on the porch of a business on Tuolumne Road.

7:57 a.m.,tuolumne — An assault occurred at a business on Tuolumne Road North.

10:23 p.m., Jamestown — Mailboxes were open on Jacksonvil­le Road.

11:38 a.m., Columbia — Someone left two dogs at the Columbia College Campus.

12:12 p.m., Sonora — A theft occurred at a business on Mono Way.

12:25 p.m., Sonora — An attempted theft occurred on Hess Avenue.

2:42 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said her neighbor harassed her on Tenth Street.

4:12 p.m., Sonora — A burglary occurred on Madrone Circle.

10:22 p.m., La Grange — An assault with a deadly weapon occurred on Bonds Flat Road.

11:54 p.m., Sonora — An assault occurred on Hillside Drive.

11:56 p.m., Sonora — Someone said there were a lot of cars, chaotic sounds and screams on a hillside above the lake on Hillside Drive.

12:27 a.m., Soulsbyvil­le — Someone said they heard a man, who sounded high on something, screaming in the park on Willow Springs Drive.

2:15 a.m., Columbia — A woman said she saw a man in an orange shirt look in her window on Green Street.

6:09 a.m., Soulsbyvil­le — A man said there were four “huge cats, black and white speckled like leopards” on his deck on Willow Springs Drive.

12:22 p.m., Twain Harte — A security officer saw someone inside a fenced area at a business on Highway 108.

12:53 p.m., Sonora — Someone said a man jumped a fence and was on their property in the middle of the night.

1:50 p.m., Sonora — A theft occurred on American River Drive.

1:55 p.m., Jamestown — A man said someone was trying to get into his room to get him.

3:55 p.m., Jamestown — A man in dark clothes and a man in a white sweatshirt and jeans acted suspicious and looked in cars on Fifth Avenue.

4:24 p.m., Sonora — Someone said mail was stolen on Feather River Drive.

4:31 p.m., Strawberry — Multiple calls occurred for a large fire on the side of the road on Highway 108. The call was transferre­d to Calfire.

6:21 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said he was assaulted by a man while men and a woman were heard yelling in the background on a 911 call from Gardner Avenue.

8:53 p.m., Sonora — Jessica Nichole Johnson, 30, of Reynolds Ferry Road, Sonora, was booked following an arrest on Mount Brow Road.

1:15 a.m., Sonora — Lesley Denise Mcclintock, 38, of the 17000 block of Apple Colony Road, Tuolumne, was booked following an arrest on Tuolumne Road.

SUNDAY

7:15 p.m., Sonora — Zachery Alan Bechthold, 27, of the 12,000 block of Green Valley Circle, Groveland, was booked following an arrest on Old Priest Grade.

7:40 p.m., Sonora — Derek Anthony Mccullough, 28, of the 10000 block of Preston Lane, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and a misdemeano­r charge of possession of a controlled substance parapherna­lia, along with eight failure-to-appear warrants following an arrest at Rotary Park.

SATURDAY

8:51 a.m., Sonora — John David Mccann, 36, of an unknown address on Pack Trail, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury following an arrest on Tuolumne Road.

3:05 p.m., Douglas Flat — Someone heard loud noises outside and suspected a prowler on Live Oak Court. A deputy checked the area.
