The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

6:03 a.m., trespass/loiter — A man in a tan jacket yelled and waved his arms in front of a business on Mono Way.

8:37 a.m., parking — A woman said there was an abandoned motorcycle with no plates or vin number on her property on West Jackson Street.

10:26 a.m., trespass/loiter — Someone requested a welfare check on a person who was wrapped up in sleeping bags in front of a business on Stockton Road.

12:45 p.m., burglary — A coin vending machine was broken into at a business on Pesce Way.

3:10 p.m., burglary — A travel trailer was burglarize­d at a business on Stockton Road.

3:35 p.m.,, theft — A man in a black-and-red hat stole merchandis­e from a business on Sanguinett­i Road and fled on a bicycle. The business requested that the man be prosecuted and trespassed from the business.

8:46 p.m., suspicious circumstan­ces — Someone said a blonde woman was slumped over the steering wheel with two children in the car in front of a business on Restano Way. The woman argued with someone on her cell phone. An officer determined she had not been drinking and another person arrived to drive her home.

The Sheriff's Office did not provide daily reports or booking logs for Monday.

2:56 a.m., Burson — A trespass occurred on Emerald Lane.

9:10 a.m., Burson — A trespass occurred on Camanche Parkway South.

9:23 a.m., Valley Springs — A disturbanc­e occurred on Myrtle Street.

9:31 a.m., Valley Springs — Fraud occurred on Highway 26.

12:20 p.m., San Andreas — Fraud occurred on Croatan Court.

2:08 p.m., Avery — A disturbanc­e occurred on Highway 4.

3:38 p.m., Valley Springs — An assault occurred on Highway 26.

3:53 p.m., Murphys — Vandalism occurred on Highway 4.

11:08 p.m., Arnold — A disturbanc­e occurred on Blagen Road.

4:49 p.m., Angels Camp —

Scott Thomas Scruggs, 27, of the 200 block of South Third Street, Oakdale, was booked following an arrest on Highway 49.

Felony bookings: MONDAY

4:49 p.m., Angels Camp — Kevin Russell Szigeti, 25, of the 1000 block of Broadway Avenue, San Jose, was booked on suspicion of carrying a loaded firearm — not the registered owner, possession, etc., of a firearm by a felon/addict and misdemeano­r charges: driving with a suspended license: reckless driving, DUI alcohol/drugs and failure to appear after written promise, following an arrest on Highway 49.
